The author&amp;#39;s intentions must be on the page; questions not answered by the text are those shades of color the actors and directors are required to reflect.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I enjoy the raw vision of a new play, and love being part of the final polishing process - but the job of writing belongs to the writer. Many actors become confused when shaping text, their interests divided.
